Data Deletion
Last updated: August 2026
This page explains how to ask Revelion Imperium (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/902714/07, to delete the personal information we hold about you. It covers information you gave us directly through this website, and information we received from Instagram or Facebook where you connected an account to our software. You may request deletion at any time and you do not need to give a reason.
To request deletion now: message us on WhatsApp at +27 76 694 8341 with the words "delete my data", and tell us the name, email address, phone number or Instagram handle you used with us so we can find your records.
1. What Information This Covers
Depending on how you engaged with us, we may hold the following. Your name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number and Instagram handle. Answers you gave in our qualifying form, including audience size, pricing and business goals. Notes and correspondence from calls and messages. Booking records for consultations.
If you connected an Instagram professional account to our software, we may also hold the following, received from Meta with your permission. Your Instagram account name, username and account identifier. Comments left on your posts and the identifiers of the people who left them. Direct message conversations and their contents. Records of automated replies our software sent on your behalf. The access token that allows our software to act for your account.
2. How to Request Deletion
- Message us on WhatsApp at +27 76 694 8341.
- Tell us you want your data deleted.
- Give us enough detail to find your records. Your name, and any of the email address, phone number or Instagram handle you used with us.
- We will confirm receipt, verify that the request comes from you, and then delete the records.
We ask you to identify yourself because deleting data on the word of someone who is not you would itself be a breach of your privacy.
3. What Happens When You Request Deletion
We delete the personal information we hold about you from our live systems. Where your Instagram account was connected to our software, we also revoke and delete the stored access token, stop all automated activity for that account, and delete the stored conversations, comments and message records associated with it. Once the token is deleted, our software has no further access to your Instagram account of any kind.
Deletion from our systems does not delete anything held by Instagram or Facebook themselves. Your Instagram messages and comments remain on Instagram, under Meta's own control and policies, and you manage those through Instagram directly.
4. How Long It Takes
We acknowledge every request within two business days and complete deletion within thirty days. In practice most requests are completed within a few business days. We will tell you in writing once it is done.
5. Disconnecting Your Instagram Account Yourself
You can remove our software's access to your Instagram account at any time, without contacting us, from inside Instagram. Open Instagram, go to Settings, then Website Permissions or Apps and Websites, find Revelion Imperium in the list, and remove it. This immediately stops all access. It does not by itself delete the records we already hold, so if you want those deleted as well, send us the request described above.
6. What We May Have to Keep
Where the law requires us to retain certain records, for example invoices, tax records and other statutory business records, we keep only what the law requires and for only as long as it requires. Anything not covered by that obligation is deleted. If any part of your request cannot be actioned, we will tell you which part and why.
7. Your Other Rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) you also have the right to request access to the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or updated, to object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. These rights are set out in full in our Privacy Policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. Website: inforegulator.org.za. Email: complaints.IR@inforegulator.org.za.
